Linguistic ToolBox is a quality assurance tool for TWS. LTB is run on bilingual files (XLZ, XLF, RTF) and produces a report with potential errors.

How to work with LTB
1. Start LTB.
2. Please choose the languages first. If it is English - please specify which (British, American)
3. Load the configuration. What is an LTB configuration? It is a QA Checker for TWS. 1. Start LTB.set of rules applied to a file (files) for QA.
A configuration can be:
- file based (A .zip file. Do not extract files from a .zip configuration!)
- server based

If you do not know which configuration to use, please contact your manager! There is a different configuration for each project. |
To load a file based configuration go to File → Load configuration. Choose "Local". Then specify the directory where you have saved your LTB configuration. Click the needed configuration. Then click "Load":
To load a server based configuration go to File→ Load configuration. Choose "Translation Workspace". Then click "Log in". Use the same credentials that you used to log into LTB:
After that you will see the TMs list. Click your TM. Then in the right window you will see available configurations. Click the one you need. Then click "Download":
3. Now the configuration is successfully loaded add files or a folder, choose the location for your report:
